Account Manager – Client Operations
Who We're Looking For
Can you run a process, enforce deadlines, and keep everyone informed - without anything slipping through the cracks and without being managed?
When something's unclear, do you dig in and figure it out - or do you ask someone else what to do?
Do you understand social media well enough to know when something's off before a client complains?
If so, we're hiring an Account Manager for Client Operations.
What This Role Actually Is
Your job is to make sure client accounts move through our system on time, in order, and without confusion.
You own the process. You enforce the system. You escalate only when you've already tried everything else.
This is not a strategy role. You won't be deciding what content to create or advising clients on their marketing. But you need to understand social media well enough to spot problems, know what "good" looks like, and coordinate confidently with people who do the creative work.
What Success Looks Like
- Clients always know where they are and what's next without having to ask
- Nothing stalls silently - you catch delays before anyone else does
- Leadership and the Client Success Manager rarely get pulled into operational questions
- Timelines and KPIs are met consistently
- The team knows exactly what's expected of them and when
What You'll Do Daily
- Check all your client accounts for blocks delays, or tasks going idle and create solutions to move things forward
- Keep a pinned Slack status updated for each client showing current phase, what we're waiting on, next step, and timeline
- Coordinate work across Content Specialists, Design, and QA
- Follow up with clients and team members before things stall - not after
- Enforce approvals and process gates before work moves forward
- Handle the gray areas with good judgment instead of immediately escalating
Compensation & Work Arrangement
Salary: $1,800 USD per month

Candidate Requirements
Social Media & Marketing Knowledge
You're not writing content or building strategy. But you need to have enough experience in marketing or content to:
- Look at a post and know if it's good or not
- Spot when something's off-brand, low quality, or missing the mark
- Know what performs well on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube
- Understand what good looks like on each platform - hooks, formatting, pacing, visuals
- Talk confidently with Content Specialists and QA without needing hand-holding
If you've never worked in social media, content, or marketing - this isn't the right fit.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as an Account Manager or Project Manager at a marketing agency, creative agency, or similar
- Detail-oriented and process-driven - nothing slips through the cracks
- Clear, concise communication - you can get everyone on the same page fast
- High emotional intelligence - you can hold the line while keeping clients calm
- Strong judgment in situations that aren't black and white
- Self-starter mentality - you figure out how to get it done instead of asking what to do
- Assertive but not abrasive - you don't accept excuses, but you're not a jerk about it
Technical Requirements
- Strong written and verbal English
- Reliable computer and internet with backup
- Comfortable working in Slack, Zoom, and ClickUp daily
