SALES REPGauteng, Jet ParkR17 000 - R20 000 + CommissionOur client, a well-established company in the freight and courier industry, is looking to appoint a National Freight & Courier Sales Representative in the new year. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional to maintain existing customer relationships while actively developing new business across South Africa

Minimum requirements:

Matric
2–3 years’ proven sales experience (freight and/or courier sales experience
industry experience will be highly advantageous)
Valid driver’s licence
Ability to work independently without constant supervision
Highly motivated, target-driven, and professional
Computer systems experience: Courier Mate, Freight Focus, Parcel Perfect

Key responsibilities:

Maintain and grow an existing customer portfolio
Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities
Conduct regular client visits and present tailored sales proposals
Prepare quotations and negotiate contracts with new and existing clients
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and overall industry developments
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers
Utilise industry-specific systems and software effectively
Ensure compliance with logistics and transportation regulations
Demonstrate strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
