Employer: Adcorpblu - Cape Town
- Perform routine calibration of gauges and measuring equipment.
- Maintain calibration records and ensure traceability.
- Identify gauges that are due, overdue, or out of tolerance.
- Troubleshoot faulty instruments and arrange repairs or replacements.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards.
- Label and store gauges properly to prevent damage or misidentification.
Candidate Requirements
- Matric / High School Certificate with Maths and Physical Science
- Mechanical Engineering qualification (advantageous)
- Technical Certificate or training metrology, instrumentation, or related field (advantegous)
- Understanding of measurement tools (callipers, micrometres, dial gauges, torque tools)
- Ability to read technical drawings and tolerance specifications (to be trained)
- Basic Computer Skills (Excel, calibration software)
- Knowledge of calibration standards and quality systems
- Good communication skills
- High attention to detail
