Employer: Workers Holdings
Installs, maintains, tests, and repairs electrical systems, machinery, and components in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Ensure all work complies with safety codes and standards.
Will be supervising a team of between 5 - 10 people
Fault finding,
Wiring,
Reading blueprints, and performing preventive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Installation & Repair: Install, repair, and maintain motors, generators, lighting, and control systems.
Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance, including testing and calibration of equipment.
Diagnostics: Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting on electrical systems to identify malfunctions.
Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including job cards, drawings, and schematics.
Project Work: Support engineering with modifications, upgrades, and new installations
Required Skills
- Managerial Skills: 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
Red Seal Endorsement: A valid Red Seal Trade Test (Electrician) is required, indicating national standard compliance.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of single-phase and three-phase systems.
Experience: Proven experience in electrical maintenance or construction environments.
Safety Focus: Strict adherence to safety protocols (e.g., lockout/tagout).
