Our client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a remote role, with the option to work hybrid in Cape Town.

Key Requirements

·        Qualification: Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Software Development or Computer Science.

·        Experience: 5+ years in professional software development.

·        Strong proficiency in GoLang; experience building production services and understanding concurrency patterns.

·        Solid experience with Angular (or similar frameworks like React/Vue) and Python (Flask, SQLAlchemy, or Django).

·        Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred), and RESTful API design.

·        Proficiency with Git, code review practices, and modern development workflows.

·        Mentoring experience for mid-level and junior engineers.

·        Highly desirable: Kafka, CDC/event streaming, ClickHouse or columnar/OLAP databases, and monolith-to-microservices migration experience.

·        Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
