💼Project Manager
Our client is looking for a strong, independent and technically competent Project Manager to take full ownership of projects, technical teams and client portfolios. This role requires a professional who can think commercially, operate independently, and drive both technical excellence and business growth within the fire and security industry.

📍Location: Paarl, Western Cape
💰Salary: Between R25,000 – R35,000
🕰️Working Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:00 (call-outs may be applicable after hours)

Key Responsibilities:
· Project Management: Take full ownership of fire detection projects from planning to completion.
· Team Leadership: Organize, manage and oversee installation and service teams.
· Technical Oversight: Provide guidance, mentorship and training to technical staff.
· Client Relationship Management: Maintain and grow strong client relationships through professional communication and service delivery.
· Revenue Growth: Identify additional work opportunities on sites and ensure service and call-outs generate revenue.
· Operational Management: Ensure projects meet deadlines while maintaining high technical standards.
· Reporting & Administration: Compile reports, quotations, planning schedules and track project progress.
· Quality & Compliance: Maintain SAQCC compliance and uphold industry best practices.
Job Requirements:
· SAQCC Certification – Level 4 or higher (Commissioner / Designer advantageous).
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Fire Detection industry.
· Experience with CCTV systems (installation, fault finding & client support).
· Fully computer literate (reports, quotations, emails, planning, project tracking).
· Valid driver’s license.
· Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
· Strong problem-solving ability.
· Must think and operate like a business owner, not just an employee.

Hoof Verantwoordelikhede:
· Projekbestuur: Neem volle eienaarskap van brandopsporingprojekte vanaf beplanning tot voltooiing.
· Spanleierskap: Organiseer, bestuur en monitor installasie- en diensspanne.
· Tegniese Toesig: Verskaf leiding, mentorskap en opleiding aan tegniese personeel.
· Kliënteverhoudings: Handhaaf en groei sterk kliënteverhoudings deur professionele kommunikasie en dienslewering.
· Inkomstegroei: Identifiseer addisionele werksgeleenthede op persele en verseker dat dienswerk en oproepe inkomste genereer.
· Operasionele Bestuur: Verseker projekte word binne sperdatums voltooi terwyl hoë tegniese standaarde gehandhaaf word.
· Verslagdoening & Administrasie: Stel verslae, kwotasies en beplanningskedules op en monitor projekvordering.
· Kwaliteit & Nakoming: Handhaaf SAQCC-nakoming en bedryfstandaarde.
Pos Vereistes:
· SAQCC Sertifisering – Vlak 4 of hoër (Kommissaris / Ontwerper voordelig).
· Minimum 5 jaar ondervinding in die Brandopsporingbedryf.
· Ondervinding met CCTV-stelsels (installasie, foutopsporing en kliënteondersteuning).
· Ten volle rekenaarvaardig (verslae, kwotasies, e-posse, beplanning, projekopsporing).
· Geldige bestuurslisensie.
· Vermoë om onafhanklik sonder konstante toesig te werk.
· Sterk probleemoplossingsvermoë.
· Moet kan dink en funksioneer soos ’n besigheidseienaar, nie net ’n werknemer nie.

· Sterk leierskap- en personeelbestuursvermoë.
· Uitstekende kommunikasievaardighede.
· Vermoë om streng sperdatums na te kom en tegniese spanne effektief te bestuur.
