My client, a dynamic and values driven labour consultancy and legal advisory firm, is looking for a sharp, highly motivated and commercially astute Business Labour Associate to join the team.This dual-role position integrates labour law expertise with strategic business development and client engagement.

The ideal and suitably qualified Associate will provide advice and legal opinions on labour matters including disciplinary processes, incapacity, retrenchments and employment contracts.  They will represent clients at CCMA and Bargaining Councils; they will draft legal documents including opinions, charges, contracts and investigation reports.  The ideal candidates will conduct workplace investigations and deliver findings as well as assist in the development and review of workplace policies.  They will also monitor labour law developments and advise clients accordingly.  The second division of this position will be to maintain and strengthen client relationships, assist with client proposals and retainer agreements, contribute to legal product development and represent the firm at industry and networking events.
