- Identify and secure new business opportunities across key industries (retail, FMCG, manufacturing, distribution, e-commerce, etc.)
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Conduct client visits, presentations, and negotiations
- Prepare quotations and rate proposals for transport and freight requirements
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Grow wallet share with existing customers
- Manage local and cross-border forwarding requests
- Coordinate collection and delivery schedules with the operations team
- Provide clients with accurate tracking updates
- Prepare job cards and ensure all booking details are correct
- Liaise with drivers, dispatch, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
- Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally
- Build long-term relationships with clients
- Provide ongoing support for account queries
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional routes or services
- Handle escalations with urgency and professionalism
- Conduct regular follow-ups to maintain strong engagement
- Prepare transport documentation (delivery notes, manifests, PODs, etc.)
- Ensure cross-border documentation is accurate and compliant
- Maintain customer files with correct records
- Ensure all paperwork is complete before dispatch
- Maintain sales and activity reports
- Update CRM/tools with client interactions and opportunities
- Report on weekly and monthly sales performance
- Provide forecasts and insights to management
- Consistently generate new leads and convert them into loyal customers
- Maintain a high closing rate on quotations and proposals
- Ensure all forwarding activities run smoothly and professionally
- Deliver excellent communication and customer service
- Contribute to revenue growth and market expansion
Role Overview
GOGO Logistics is looking for an energetic, self-driven Sales & Forwarding Agent to grow our client base, manage freight forwarding requests, and deliver exceptional service throughout the full logistics cycle.
This role requires a strong understanding of local and cross-border logistics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to secure new business while managing the operational flow of bookings, tracking, and client support.

Candidate Requirements
- Experience in logistics, transport, or freight forwarding

- Valid driver’s license (advantageous if own vehicle is available)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- CRM or sales software experience advantageous
