RPO Recruitment’s client, a reputable civil engineering contractor based in Gauteng is seeking an experienced Site Agent with strong expertise in civil structures to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily site operations on projects
• Supervise construction activities, ensuring quality, safety, and programme adherence
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with contractual specifications and health & safety regulations
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
• Prepare site reports, method statements, and progress updates

Requirements:

• National Diploma or BTech in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5–10 years’ experience on civil structures (bridges, culverts, retaining walls, reservoirs, water treatment works, dams, tunnels, etc.)
• Proven experience working on bridges advantageous
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site management practices
• Experience with relevant contract forms (e.g., GCC, FIDIC advantageous)
