Employer: West Coast Personnel

Technical Draftsman. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative product and tool design projects in a dynamic engineering environment.

Responsibilities

Create precise 2D technical drawings for manufacturing and tooling.
Develop and refine 3D CAD models to support product and tool design.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to translate concepts into manufacturable designs.
Ensure all drawings and models meet industry standards and internal quality requirements.
Participate in design reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

Matric certificate with passes in Mathematics and Physical Science.
Engineering Graphics and Design (EGD) or Technical Drawing as a subject.
A Draughting Diploma or Certificate will be highly beneficial.
Basic proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar CAD software) will be an advantage.

Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
Attention to detail and ability to work within tight tolerances.
