Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles

• Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brake adjustments, and tyre rotations

• Perform inspections and testing to ensure vehicle roadworthiness and safety

• Utilise diagnostic tools and software to identify faults and recommend repairs

• Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed

• Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs and recommendations clearly

• Adhere to health and safety regulations and workshop standards

• Follow a “Fix right first time” work culture to ensure quality and efficiency

Requirements:

• Certification from a recognised automotive training institution

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a motor technician in the automotive industry

• Strong technical proficiency in vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs

• Effective communication and customer service skills

• Commitment to professional and ethical standards

• Computer literacy for diagnostic software and record-keeping

• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
