- Matric (Grade 12) essential
- Reliable transport to and from work
- Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts advantageous
- Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in cold kitchen operations
- Proven expertise in cold food preparation including salads, charcuterie, c, hors d’œuvres, sushi, and buffet items
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, storage standards, and HACCP principles
- Ability to manage inventory, control stock levels, and maintain par stocks along with other team members
- Excellent organizational and communication skills for collaboration with chefs, service, and procurement teams
- Flexible to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Physically fit – able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
