- Technical Expertise:
- Install, commission, and maintain fire suppression systems across mobile and fixed structures.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and certification in line with the relevant and appropriate standards.
- Supervise and train local technicians.

- Commercial & Business Development:
- Manage project budgets, quotations, and contracts.

- Scoping of works.
- Ability to draw/design using software like Autocard, will be an added advantage.

- Lead technician teams, ensuring efficient scheduling and resource allocation.
- Maintain compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Acts applicable in Zambia.
- Prepare technical reports, compliance documentation, and certification records.
- Ensure all installations meet international and regional fire safety codes.

Position Overview:
A Zambian-based company is seeking a full time expatriate Senior Fire Technician/Manager to lead the supply and installation of fire suppression systems on both mobile equipment and fixed plant. The successful candidate should be an expatriate professional with recognized certifications, able to ensure compliance with Zambian and International fire safety codes, while also managing the commercial and business development aspects of the role.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in fire suppression systems, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record in business development and commercial management.
- Valid passport, driver’s license and willingness to travel across Zambia and DRC.
- Advanced technical knowledge of fire suppression systems (mobile & fixed).
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and client engagement abilities.
- Commercial acumen with experience in contract management and business growth.
- Deep understanding of compliance codes in Zambia.
