Electronic Application Engineer vacancy in Paarl, Cape Town. MEng or BEng in Electronic Engineering with 4-10 years’ experience is required. The purpose of this role includes Product development, design, testing, and production; managing project scope before, during, and after delivery; and supporting existing products and clients.

Minimum requirements:

MEng or BEng in Electronic Engineering
4-10 years’ experience
Any related hands-on experience in electronic design.
Proto-typing, hardware verification, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting electronic circuits.
Working knowledge of Altium Designer or similar CAD package.
Proficient with MCU firmware development in C and C++, as well as GitLab for version control.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Implementing the electronic hardware design and development of modules.
Capture requirements.
Develop/Synthesize and propose solutions.
Source components and develop prototypes.
Industrialize/Commercialize designs for high volume production.
Ensure designs are qualified and validated.
Drafting test specifications.
Documenting test results.
Product life cycle support.
Provide support to clients and manage the product supply chain.
