MBEZE RESOURCES LTD (MBEZE) is an IVANHOE MINES company operating in the Zambian mining sector, with offices in Lusaka (Lusaka Province), and exploration licenses in North- Western Province Zambia near the town of Zambezi. MBEZE is inviting qualified candidates, both male and female, who are interested in this position. The place of work will be located in Lusaka, and extensive field work would be required.

To operate light-duty vehicles and transport loads and passengers as per daily instructions and according to the standard operating procedures.

You will have the following:

Zambian Driver’s License with an Approved Driver Training Certificate
Passport to be able to cross borders
2-3 years' relevant experience transporting goods
Experience in the exploration environment highly advantageous
Fluency in English

You will have advanced skills and knowledge in:

Road regulations
Driver etiquette
Road directions and destinations
Road conditions
Car mechanics
Car care and maintenance
Defensive driving
Offroad driving

Technical Skills should include:

How to diagnose mechanical faults
Fix basic mechanical faults
Change a flat tyre
Vehicle recovery

Your Key Performance Activities will include but not limited to:

Process:

Drive passengers in light duty vehicles (LDV)

Passenger Transportation Responsibilities
Transportation of Samples and Equipment
