We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance & Control Specialist to join our team. This is a newly established position, offering an exciting opportunity for a quality-focused professional to make a significant impact.
As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust quality systems to ensure consistent product excellence, supplier compliance, and superior customer satisfaction within the branded apparel and promotional products environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Assurance (QA)
Develop and implement a comprehensive QA/QC framework tailored to apparel and promotional product categories.
Establish and maintain quality assurance procedures, documentation, and inspection protocols.
Review and approve samples, artwork, sizing, and branding specifications prior to production.
Conduct supplier evaluations and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to company and industry standards.
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure products meet client requirements and quality benchmarks.
2. Quality Control (QC)
Perform in-line, pre-production, and final inspections of apparel and promotional products.
Identify defects and investigate root causes, ensuring timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Approve or reject finished products based on visual, functional, and branding standards.
Document and track non-conformance reports (NCRs) and recommend process improvements.
Ensure consistent adherence to product quality and delivery timelines.
3. Compliance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, non-conformance incidents, and client feedback.
Prepare and present quality reports for internal review and management decision-making.
Provide training and guidance to relevant teams on quality standards, procedures, and awareness.
Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen supplier performance.

Candidate Requirements
Key RequirementsA higher qualification or diploma in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality assurance or quality control, ideally within the apparel, promotional products, or manufacturing sectors.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing QA/QC systems and working with supplier networks.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
Ability to manage multiple product categories and projects simultaneously.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with suppliers, clients, and internal teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and quality documentation systems.
Results-driven with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
