Senior Test Automation Engineer in The Netherlands
At our client in The Netherlands (relocation + visas, fully supported for you and the family!), you will help ensure that software is released into production with full confidence. As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks for clients, whilecontinuously expanding your technical and non-technical skillset. You will join a community of experts who drive quality, celebrate successes, and regularly organize knowledge-sharing sessions, hackathons, and team events.
Your Role in a Nutshell
As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will take ownership of test automation frameworks and ensure high-
quality delivery for client applications. You will:
- Independently set up and maintain automated test frameworks
- Explore new programming languages, frameworks, and tooling
- Coach colleagues and share your expertise through training sessions and workshops
- Ensure high-quality software delivery across UI, API, and integration levels
You will contribute to client success by improving test processes, advising on best practices, and enabling teams to deliver reliable and efficient software.

While most of your time is spent at client sites, you will have a trusted home base within our client’s Testing: Engineering Quality (TEQ) practice. You will work alongside colleagues specialized in quality and testing, who value collaboration, learning, and fun. Team activities include game nights, pub quizzes, ping pong tournaments, knowledge-sharing sessions, and intervision meetings. Each new team member receives a buddy and personal counselor to support development and onboarding. What You Bring
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in IT or a related field (must have/ knock out!)
- Experience as a test automation engineer
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or Cypress
- Experience with test automation tools at UI level such as Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, or Robot
- Framework
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or REST-Assured
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and affinity with AI
- Leadership or mentoring qualities are welcome
