- Formulate and execute comprehensive regional business development strategies, tailored to the specific needs and dynamics of the region. This involves analysing market trends, competitors, and identifying key growth areas to ensure sustained business expansion.
- Proactively identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities by conducting thorough market research, prospecting potential clients, and leveraging networking platforms. Drive sales initiatives that result in the acquisition of new accounts and long-term partnerships.
- Establish and nurture enduring relationships with existing clients by providing exceptional service, understanding their evolving needs, and offering tailored solutions. Maintain regular communication to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Effectively promote DEKRA’s suite of services—including roadworthy testing, technical inspections, and compliance solutions—through targeted presentations and marketing initiatives. Educate clients on the value and benefits of these offerings to drive business adoption.
- Conduct regular client visits to understand their business requirements, deliver solution-oriented presentations, and prepare professional proposals that address specific client needs. Ensure all proposals are comprehensive, competitive, and aligned with DEKRA’s standards.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline by consistently updating CRM systems, tracking progress of opportunities, and generating detailed monthly reports. This ensures transparency and enables data-driven decision making.
- Serve as a professional representative of DEKRA at regional industry events, meetings, and networking platforms. Engage with industry stakeholders to enhance DEKRA’s visibility, build new connections, and stay informed about industry developments.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years’ proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar client acquisition role, with a track record of successfully securing new business.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and close deals.
- Demonstrated expertise in building and nurturing relationships with new clients and stakeholders.
- Keen ability to identify, target, and capitalise on new growth opportunities within the automotive and related sectors.
- High level of self-motivation, professionalism, and the independence required to drive new business initiatives from concept to execution.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout the region to meet prospective clients.
- Industry knowledge of automotive testing and inspection services is advantageous.
