Employer: SOS Children's Village
The Office Manager is responsible for optimizing office operations, oversees daily office operations, ensuring efficiency by managing facilities, supplies, budgets, fleet and staff support, while also handling administrative tasks like scheduling and implementing procedures to optimize workflow and maintain a positive environment. Combines administrative office support with supply chain oversight, including procurement, inventory control, shipping, and facility management. Large element of the position involves supporting senior management and the board with meetings, travel and other logistics.
KPA 1: Optimising Office Operations

KPA 6: Child Protection and Safeguarding
Candidate Requirements
- Completed Grade 12 with further studies in administration, logistics or equavalent.
- A Valid South African Drivers Licence
- A Minimum 5 years relevant experience, with at least 3 years managing a similar Portfolio
- Proven report writing and strong administration skills
- Understanding of NGO operations, running an office, fleet and property
- Good organisational skills.
- Above average knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Fluency in English, and one or more local languages.
- Knowledge of fleet/logistics
- Working knowledge of organisational policies and standards
