ASSISTANT PROFESSIONAL OFFICER: SUBSTANCE ABUSE, GENDER AND VULNERABLE GROUPS
BASIC SALARY R415 782 PER ANNUM ● REF NO: CACD 02/26 ● CAPE TOWN
Requirements:
- A relevant three-year tertiary qualification preferably a B degree or a three-year Diploma
- One (1) to three (3) years’ relevant experience
- A valid Code EB driver’s licence will be an advantage
- Computer literacy in MS Office
- The incumbent will be required to work outside of working hours if required.
Key performance areas:
- Assist with the co-ordination, monitoring and quality of implementation of the Department’s programmes for Substance Abuse, Gender and Vulnerable Groups and recommend improvements in support of programme development
- Assist with the provision of information on strategy and policy development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation for Substance, Gender and Vulnerable Groups
- Assist with the co-ordination of processes within the Department that addresses Substance Abuse, Gender and Vulnerable Groups challenges throughout the City
- Assist with establishments and maintenance of relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partner organisations involved in the interventions undertaken in programmes for Substance Abuse, Gender and Vulnerable Groups
- Assist with the co-ordination of assigned projects, throughout the design, implementation and evaluation phase to ensure that projects are completed timeously within budget
- Assist with the provision of monitoring and evaluation to track progress and demonstrate the impact of identified projects and programmes for Substance Abuse, Gender and Vulnerable Groups
- Responsible for administration relating to area of responsibility.
