A busy Oncology Practice in the Cape Winelands is looking for an Authorisations clerk with sound knowledge and experience relating to Medical Authorisations in a Medical Practice.
Key duties:
Submitting Treatment Plans to medical aids
Obtain timeous and accurate authorization from medical aids
Updating Treatment Plan authorizations with medical aids when changes occur
Updating various systems regarding authorization details
Communicating with Practice regarding obtained Treatment Plan authorizations
Registering of patients
Required Skills
- Experience Relating To Authorisations In A Medical Practice: 1 to 2 years
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification and proven Medical experience
Skills & Knowledge requirements:
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to multitask
Must have good interpersonal relationship skills and be able to work in a team
Computer literacy essential
Fluent in English & Afrikaans
Drivers Licence & own reliable vehicle
