- Plans supply of finished goods (components) cores, parts & stands.
- Manages component/core supply within a closed loop supply chain.
- Manages the Materials Requirements Planning process.
- Executes inner parts inventory optimisation.
- Stays abreast with inventory strategies for the Reman closed loop supply chain.
- Tracking & monitoring parts ordering & supply.
- Stays abreast with inventory strategies for the Reman supply chain.
- Maintaining forward forecast for parts, cores, components & support for the introduction of components and inner parts for new machines.
- Adheres to Supplier Management Policy & Procedure.
- Monitoring ISO compliance (environmental).
- Manage and monitoring quality of parts supply together with Warehouse management.
- Providing input into warranty decisions.
- Provides advanced project management, reporting and presentations competence.
Introduction:
Komatsu South Africa has an amazing opportunity in the Remanufacturing Division at our Germiston branch, for a Manager: Reman Inventory who will be responsible for providing expert technical advice internally and to customers, in support of Komatsu Products. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 years working experience within a manufacturing/ Engineering or mining environment implementing Materials Requirements Planning/Inventory Optimisation and at least 2 years supervisory experience will be an added advantage, a B. Degree in Supply Chain Management or B. Eng Industrial Engineering with specific emphasis on Inventory Management.

Candidate Requirements
- B. Degree in Supply Chain Management / B. Eng Industrial Engineering with specific emphasis on Inventory Management.
- An additional qualification in data analytics (an advantage).
- 6 or more years of experience in implementing Materials Requirements Planning/Inventory Optimisation.
- 2 or more years of supervisory experience (an advantage).
- Six Sigma Green Belt (an advantage).
- Experience in a heavy earth moving environment (an advantage).
- SAP - Advanced.
- MS Excel - Advanced.
- MS PowerPoint – Advanced
- MS Word – Intermediate.
- Valid Driver’s licen
