BONUS ADMINISTRATOR (Grading C1)

 Job specification

• Grade 12 / Matric (Accounting or Mathematics advantageous).
• Diploma or certificate in Payroll, HR, Finance, or Administration.
• 2–4 years’ experience in bonus administration, payroll, or mining remuneration systems.
• Experience working with production-based bonus schemes (mining environment essential).
• Strong Excel and payroll system skills.
• High numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Confidentiality and professionalism
• Problem-solving ability
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under deadlines
• Medically fit to work on a Mine.
• South African Citizenship

 Responsibilities

• Calculate monthly/quarterly production and performance bonuses for underground and surface employees.
• Capture and verify production data, shift records, and time & attendance inputs.
• Ensure compliance with wage agreements, union agreements, and company bonus structures.
• Reconcile bonus payments against production targets and payroll reports.
• Resolve bonus-related queries and discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records, spreadsheets, and audit trails.
• Liaise with Mining, HR, Payroll, and Finance departments for data verification.
• Support audits and internal controls relating to bonus schemes.
• Ensure adherence to Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) and company policies where applicable.
• Manage and maintain the area of responsibility in accordance with prescribed standards and practices
