The Technical Training Specialist is responsible for all aspects of technical training for Air Products employees and external customers. Delivering training as set out in the curriculum, working to Air Products SA and Global policies and standards and according to the Technical Training process. Key areas of responsibility for this role include but are not limited to:
1. Deliver and maintain Curriculum Technical Training both paper and eLearning system.
2. Responsible for Classroom and practical training and assessment.
3. Ensure adherence to Technical Training Procedures.
4. Provide Technical Training support to Business Units.
5. Update and maintain training plans and training records, both electronic and paper.
6. Continuous improvement and BSP Champion.
Candidate Requirements
1. A Grade 12/ Matric qualification.
2. Formal Technical Engineering Qualification.
3. Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development Practices (ODETDP) Qualification and experience are desirable.
4. A minimum of 3 years in the oil and Gas industry, manufacturing/ chemical process industries.
5. Cryogenic & Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Packed Gas cylinder fill operations experience would be an added advantage.
6. Computer literate in MS Office with a high degree of proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook. 7
7. Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
8. A valid unendorsed Code EC Drivers' licence.
