Our client, operating in the HRIS and Payroll industry, is recruiting for a strategic and results-driven Marketing Specialist to join their Centurion team. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing and optimising digital marketing for the group and its platforms—including websites, social media accounts, and online campaigns. The focus is to strengthen brand presence, drive engagement, and support business growth for group of companies. The role requires strategic planning, content creation, campaign management, and performance monitoring, while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Responsibilities
Digital Marketing and Operations
- Develop and maintain a strategic content calendar aligned with marketing objectives, ensuring consistent publishing across platforms.
- Design and execute comprehensive content strategies that reinforce brand positioning and maximise impact across digital channels.
- Plan, implement, and manage integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. Track progress and analyse results to inform future initiatives.
Brand Development and Engagement
- Ensure a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms, maintaining professionalism and audience appeal.
- Oversee the creation of marketing collateral—including brochures, presentations, and training materials—to support PBS business units and enhance client engagement.
Quality and Compliance
- Review, proofread, and edit all content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand standards.
- Monitor website and social media performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, platform insights). Provide reports and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Ensure all content adheres to copyright laws, POPIA, and data protection regulations, maintaining ethical and legal standards.
Required Skills and Competencies
- 5-7 years' relevant experience, specifically in a tech environment.
- Strong expertise in digital marketing and social media management.
- Ability to craft engaging, audience-specific content across multiple platforms.
- Proficiency in analytics tools and campaign performance tracking.
- Excellent communication, editing, and brand management skills.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and digital marketing best practices.
Performance Indicators
- Consistency and effectiveness of content calendar execution.
- Engagement metrics across social media and digital platforms.
- Campaign ROI and lead generation outcomes.
- Quality and compliance with published content.
- Contribution to brand growth and stakeholder satisfaction.
Reporting Line
This position reports directly to the General Manager and collaborates closely with business unit leaders to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
