Our client, a growing accounting practice based in Overstrand is looking for a Senior Accountant/Office Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate has excellent organisational and people-management skills, the ability to work independently, and take ownership of the role.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Drafting and reviewing annual financial statements *Overseeing practice operations and office administration *Managing and supporting the team to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the practice *Ensuring financial- and regulatory compliance *Managing financial and system controls *Reviewing VAT returns *All other tasks related to the position.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• BCom Accounting degree or similar qualification (SAIPA or SAICA registered, with completed articles);
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role;
• Strong technical accounting knowledge;
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English);
• Valid driver’s license.
