Our client, a global fruit export company based in Paarl, is seeking an on-site Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong problem-solving abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. Solid financial acumen, along with strong verbal and written communication skills, is essential for this role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Debtors processing, credit insurance and debtor management *Managing weekly payments to Growers (handling the process from start to finish) *Creditors processing *Bank Processing *Processing transactions and journals *Audit and independent review preparation *All other tasks related to the position.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• BCom Accounting or Finance related qualification;
• 3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role;
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles and practices;
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel (Sage Pastel advantageous);
• Excellent communication skills (Afrikaans and English);
• Own reliable transport.
