Shape the Future with Us! A rewarding opportunity awaits a skilled GENERAL MANAGER at I&J Aquaculture in Gansbaai, Western Cape. Your role will be to drive profitable growth across the aquaculture portfolio by leading commercial strategy, financial performance, and asset optimisation, ensuring operational and technical excellence translate into strong margins and long term stakeholder value.

Reporting Structure:

• Reports to: Managing Director
• Direct Reports: 6

Key Areas of Impact:

• Plan, direct and coordinate the efforts of various management functions, various reporting managers and their departments.
• Direct and coordinate financial and budget activities to fund operations, procurement, maximize investments, revenue and profit generation.
• Ensure and oversee efficient and effective people management. Develop and promote a high performance workplace culture of teamwork, accountability and innovation.
• Sales and Operations planning.
• External Stakeholder Management.
• Health and Safety and Risk Management. Lead a safe operation, ensuring commitment to uphold high, effective risk and safety management standards.

What It Takes to Succeed:
Experience that set you up for success:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• 10–15 years’ experience in a senior management role
• Experience in Aquaculture, Engineering, FMCG or Supply chain would be advantageous

Qualifications & Certifications that will contribute to your success:

• A relevant completed Business Degree is required

Additional Requirements that will enhance your impact for success:

• Understanding of labour law policies
• Strong Project & operation management skills
