🛠 The Role – Motor Mechanic

 

Based in Kalgoorlie, WA, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide range of used and new vehicles, while delivering high-quality workmanship and professional service.

 

Key responsibilities include:

•Mechanical servicing and repairs including engine, transmission, suspension and brakes

•Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults in line with manufacturer and dealer standards

•Providing expert advice on the mechanical condition of vehicles

•Reporting all required work to the Service Manager using service reporting systems

•Test driving and final quality checks prior to vehicle handover

•Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment

•Keeping up to date with mechanical knowledge and workshop best practices

•Assisting with general workshop duties as required

        • Assisting sales manager as service advisor

 

✅ What we’re looking for

•Trade qualified – Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)

•Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience

•Current manual driver’s licence

•Strong diagnostic ability and attention to detail

•A commitment to quality workmanship and safety

•Professional attitude and willingness to adapt to Australian workshop standards

        • Service advisor, sales and customer service experience a must
