This position will be based at the Head Office in Woodmead.

Description
The purpose of this position is to assist with the daily posting and processing of journal entries; perform monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations; prepare Financial Statements and assist with any other ad hoc accounting duties within the Finance department

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Process transactions and journals to support accurate month-end close through balance sheet level.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany and key control accounts; investigate and clear reconciling items.
• Compile monthly and ad hoc management reporting, schedules and supporting packs in line with internal timelines.
• Actively identify, investigate and resolve accounting errors and potential statutory issues; recommend corrective actions and strengthen controls.
• Perform foreign exchange (forex) revaluations and reconciliations and maintain supporting forex schedules.
• Compile tax calculations and prepare/submit returns via relevant in-country tax portal websites for review and approval; retain supporting documentation and ensure compliance.
• Support audits and other compliance deliverables by preparing working papers, schedules and responding to queries.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and related journals/reconciliations where applicable.
• Perform other duties as required by management.


Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in financial accounting (or equivalent)

Experience and Skills Requirements

• 3–5 years’ financial accounting experience (multi-entity and multi-currency exposure advantageous)
• Advanced Excel skills; strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Working knowledge of IFRS and statutory compliance requirements
• ERP experience (Sage X3 preferable) and strong reconciliation discipline
• High attention to detail, strong deadline management, and a continuous-improvement mindset
