TTS-Top Talent Solutions has a career opportunity for an IT General Administrator (Application Support) to join their Pretoria team. TTS is a global Human Resources consulting company that works in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
The IT General Administrator (Application Support) will report to the CIO and work as part of a team of IT professionals. The role provides administrative and operational support to the company’s employees and customers, with exposure to IT systems and applications in an administrative and supportive capacity.
Work Location: Monument Park, Pretoria.
Work Responsibilities:
1. Provide administrative and operational support to the IT and Product functions.
2. Use an in-house developed cloud-based platform to:
- Support the configuration of customer solutions on our platform;
- Assist with troubleshooting and problem resolution for internal and external customers, escalating more complex issues where required.
3. Perform IT Service Desk support activities:
- Support the delivery of IT services within the agreed SLA, according to the agreed processes and in a professional and customer-focused manner;
- Assist with IT support requests up to completion, and provide feedback to customers, or escalate complex problems to the relevant IT team members;
- Communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences/customers internally and externally;
- Work with geographically dispersed project members to meet success criteria;
- Detect and flag trends to ensure problems are resolved with minimum impact.
4. Assist with data cleaning and manipulation in Excel.
5. Participate in continuous system improvement initiatives to improve the performance of the system.

Minimum Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12;
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 desktop applications and web browsers;
- Understanding of information security practices;
- Proficiency in English is essential; proficiency in Afrikaans is highly beneficial, or at a minimum the ability to understand Afrikaans;
- Familiarity with AI tools is advantageous.
Advantageous/Beneficial Experience:
- Exposure to first-line support, an IT Service Desk environment, or a technical customer support role;
- Would be advantageous to have 1 to 2 years’ experience working in first-line support, preferably in an IT Service Desk environment;
- Relevant tertiary qualification/diploma or equivalent experience in an IT environment;
- Experience in a Technical Support or Customer Service role will also be considered.
