Candidate Requirements

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed work and problem solving. You will need to be organised, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The job involves a lot of information and special cases, so attention to detail and clear thinking are essential. We are looking for someone who doesn’t just follow processes, but understands how their work affects the wider team, the business, and our clients.

• Matric
• 3 years of experience as a Reservations Agent, Travel Agent, or a any other role in the travel and tourism industry
• Good destination knowledge of Southern Africa  
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Good telephonic manner and excellent communication skills
• Extraordinary time management and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task efficiently and possessing exceptional attention to detail whilst working under pressure. 
• Ability to understand the bigger picture of the reservations processes beyond the task at hand
• Ability to build positive supplier relationships
• Ability to work as a part of a team as well as independently
• Highly self-motivated 
• Computer literate and good working knowledge of Microsoft package (especially Excel, Word, and Pdf)
