The uniWines Group, headquartered just outside Rawsonville in the beautiful Breedekloof wine region, has a position available for a Junior Financial Manager to

join their team.

The successful candidate demonstrates excellent administrative, managerial, and interpersonal skills, combined with an energetic, systematic, and dynamic approach to work, as well as strong analytical, critical, and logical thinking abilities.

The incumbent will report to the Group Financial Manager and will be responsible for (but not limited to): *cost calculations and cost management *internal audit processes *internal invoicing and recordkeeping between internal entities *accounting to financial statement level *inventory control *submission of VAT and excise calculations *setting up internet banking payments *liaison with external auditors and other financial institutions *overhead audit function on debtors, creditors, income and expenses *monthly closing and reconciliations *assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports *all ad hoc financial functions related to the position.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

• BCom Accounting or similar qualification with completed SAIPA/CIMA/SAICA articles;

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar position (exposure to or experience in the wine industry will be advantageous);

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems (experience with Xero will be advantageous).

Commencement date: As soon as possible.
