Employer: Placement Point (Pty) Ltd

A well establlished company based in Alberton, requires a PA - Support Analyst with Maintenance and Industrial experience.

DUTIES:

  • Capture all spares issued and replace parts weekly.
  • Analyse and report on relevant Maintenance data.
  • Prepare Purchase Requisitions for new parts and projects.
  • Liaise with the Maintenance Manager regarding approved suppliers.
  • Conduct month-end stock counts and analysis.
  • Oversee that the Storeman keeps the store clean and well‑organized on a daily basis.
  • Ensure ISO requirements are implemented and adhered to.
  • Enforce policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Supervise receiving of goods and parts.
  • Schedule and monitor servicing of forklifts, cranes, compressors, and scales.
  • Ensure new suppliers provide safety files before starting work on-site.
  • Maintain Translution records and update document control checklists.
  • Track employee clock-in/out records on Jarrison.
  • Update inventory and analyse spares usage for reporting.
  • Assist the Engineering and Maintenance Manager with daily tasks, incorporating both office support and PA responsibilities.
  • Attend meetings, take minutes, and perform ad hoc duties as assigned by HOD

  • Attend team meetings and share ideas

Candidate Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ administrative experience in a maintenance, industrial, or related role.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as a Personal Assistant.
  • Business Administration qualification (certificate, diploma, or degree) or a similar area of study.
  • Knowledge of inventory management or storekeeping.
  • Foundational financial and mathematical skills
  • Intermediate to advanced competency in Microsoft Office, with prominence in Excel.  
  • Operational systems experience, including platforms like Syspro, Pastel, Translution
  • Time Keeping experience
  • Valid Driver’s Licence & Own Vehicle
  • Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English
