Our client, a well-established consulting engineering firm, has a vacancy in their Cape Town office for an Electrical Design Engineer/Technologist specializing in Building Services. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrical professional with 5 years' postgraduate experience to join a dynamic design team working on diverse building projects.

The successful candidate will support the Lead Engineer and electrical design teams while managing building services projects from inception through to handover.

Minimum Requirements:

• Electrical Engineering qualifications (B.Eng / B.Sc Eng / BTech)
• 5 years' post-graduation experience
• Fluency in both English and Afrikaans (essential)
• ECSA Registered or working towards registration
• Building services electrical design experience
• Types of projects worked on (commercial, residential, industrial, institutional)
• CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical or similar)
• DIALux or similar lighting design software
• Valid driver’s license
• Own reliable transport
