Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items under supervision.
Ensure all dishes are prepared to company standards and customer expectations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
Support senior chefs with stock control, ordering, and inventory management.
Contribute to menu development and bring creativity to daily specials.
Uphold portion control and minimize food wastage.
Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate Requirements

Requirements

Chef Diploma or equivalent culinary qualification.
Minimum of 1 year working in a private game lodge

Ability to work under extreme pressure in a very large kitchen and adapt to changing demands.
Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Passion for food and hospitality.
Willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field.
Professional, reliable, and punctual.
