Our client, BioScience Research, operating within the agricultural industry, is seeking an Agronomist Assistant to join their team in Tzaneen, Limpopo. The successful candidate will assist the branch and management team with field trial activities, administration, and operational support.

This is a junior position suited to a motivated, hands-on individual with an interest in agriculture, who is tech savvy, takes initiative, and is eager to learn.

The successful candidate will assist and support the management and technical team with the following: *Assisting with the establishment of field trials *Supporting project planning, coordination, and basic project management activities *Assisting with the generation, capturing, and organisation of reliable field trial data *Supporting field activities and assisting in resolving issues *Assisting in identifying potential opportunities and addressing operational needs *Assisting with the identification of weeds, diseases, and pests in relevant crops *Assisting with the evaluation of field trials *Preparing updates, reports, and feedback for Senior Management *Accurately recording, capturing, and maintaining data and documentation *Providing general branch and administrative support *All other tasks related to this role.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• Relevant agricultural certificate, diploma, or similar qualification;
• Strong computer literacy (MS Office essential; data capturing and reporting skills advantageous);
• Genuine interest in the agricultural industry and field-based work;
• Willingness to work both in-field and in an office / administrative environment;
• Ability to follow protocols, work accurately, and pay attention to detail;
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans essential);
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally when required.
