How you'll role
The Technical Project Manager will oversee the delivery, quality, and performance of the client's live environment and global deployment projects. This role manages technical teams, system readiness, site visits, and installations while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards. The role collaborates closely with Engineering, Operations, and vendors to drive system improvements, operational efficiency, and scalable deployment processes across regions.
What you'll do
Oversee and manage quality control (QC) of the live environment
- Server setup
- Management of live environment applications
- Course module customizations
- Map zoning and round performance
- System calibration
Hardware License Management
- Hardware license management for SkyWay and Scalefusion
Research & Development
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the development team to enhance the Tagmarshal application in the live environment
- Manage SkyWay MDM development and system improvements with the vendor
- Provide production hardware improvement recommendations to the VP of Engineering
Installation Preparation & Logistical Oversight
- Installation preparation consultations with the Supply Chain manager to ensure product delivery
- Oversight of travel preparations and itineraries with the Operations team
Site Visit Oversight & Audits
- Site visit management of the technical coordinator team
Perform while teams are on the ground
- Inventory audits
- Primary installation audits
- Final cross-check audits
- Site visit report audits
- Sales returns audits
Project Scope & Documentation
- Oversee the creation of project scopes by the Technical Coordinators
- Produce and/or quality-check the scopes of work issued to customers for signature
Training & Career Development
- Upskill technical resources to perform routine tasks more efficiently
- Upskill field technicians to reduce reliance on backend system adjustments performed by the coordination team and promote independent installation processes
Project Execution & Monitoring
- Manage and execute Site Visit Projects planned and scheduled by the Group Operations Manager
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, efficiently, and in line with specifications
- Monitor the Deployment Team to ensure adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and operational efficiency
Quality Assurance in Zoho
- Conduct audits on task completion to ensure accuracy within Zoho Projects and FSM
Installation Methodology & Process Improvement
- Track changes to installation methodologies, standards, and processes
- Ensure refinements are applied to current and future projects
Firmware & Change Management
- Monitor firmware updates and rollouts, addressing issues as they arise
- Form and lead the Change Advisory Board (CAB), running bi-weekly meetings
Deployment Team Leadership & Resource Management
- Provide leadership and manage the Deployment Team in the USA/RSA/Canada territories
- Ensure the team has the necessary resources and mitigate operational roadblocks
Cross-Departmental Communication
- Maintain strong communication across departments to ensure alignment on process updates and operational requirements
Required Skills
- It Project Management: 4 to 5 years

Candidate Requirements
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in BCom, BSc, or BEng
- Certifications in ITIL4, Prince2 (v7), PMBOK, or COMPTIA A+
- Proven experience in technical project management and QA in a live environment
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Experience with hardware license management and system improvements
- Proficiency in project scope management and audit processes
