Planning, supervision and monitoring vehicle movement ensuring compliance with approved routes, company policies and procedures.
Supervise, coach, and manage drivers and operations team.
Monitoring of Colt Logistics fleet loading and offloading, including sub-contractors.
Ensure reported breakdowns are attended to as quickly as possible to minimize downtime.
Ensuring updates on fleet positioning is communicated.
Uploading/updating fleet documents on Fleetio.
Manage daily operations of all vehicles, ensuring availability and reliability.
Monitor fuel usage, maintenance costs and implement cost saving strategies.
Utilize flet management systems and telematics to improve operational efficiency.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly fleet performance and utilization reports and present to the Managing Directors.
Schedule preventive maintenance, coordinate repairs and minimize downtown.
Ensure adherence to transport regulations, mining safety protocol and legal standards..
Liaise with mines, operations teams and clients to meet the set targets.
Monitor real-time fleet movement using tracking systems.

Matric- Grade 12
Preferably National Diploma/Degree in Logistics/Transport Management or Supply Chain.
Ability to work independently under pressure.
Pay attension to details.
Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills.
Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
