Candidate Requirements

Qualifying Criteria 

 

• IT Related qualification

 

• Additional certifications will be advantageous (CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, etc.)

 

• Minimum 5 years experience

 

• Troubleshooting experience across hardware, software, and networks

 

• Experience with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365

 

• Basic networking knowledge (IP, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls)

 

• Strong communication and customer service skills

 

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

 

• Experience in a radio station or broadcast environment is highly advantageous *

 

 

Core Functions

 

• Provide IT support to staff across the group of companies

 

• Device setup and configuration (PCs, laptops, studio computers)

 

• Ensure backups, antivirus, and endpoint security are operational

 

• Basic network troubleshooting (LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity)

 

• Support remote access and VPN connections

• Provide basic technical support

 

• Support audio streaming and podcast recording setups

 

• Monitor technical equipment and report potential failures

 

 

• Maintain IT documentation and asset registers
