The Corrugated Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining corrugated equipment to produce high-quality packaging products. The ideal candidate must have experience in operating corrugated machinery and possess strong mechanical aptitude.We require skilled operators with solid experience in 3-ply board manufacturing, including:
-Bottom liner
-Fluting
-Top liner
-Single Facer Operation expertise
Key Responsibilities:
1. Set up and operate corrugated machinery such as flexo folder gluers, die cutters, and laminators to produce corrugated packaging products.
2. Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and conduct regular maintenance checks to prevent downtime.
3. Monitor production output and make adjustments to machine settings as needed to meet production goals.
4. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and industry standards.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production to minimize downtime.
6. Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
7. Maintain accurate production records and report any issues or concerns to the Production Manager.
8. Assist with training and mentoring new operators as needed.
9. Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance, quality control, and shipping to ensure seamless production processes.
10. Stay current on industry trends and technology advancements in corrugated packaging production.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Corrugated Operator in a manufacturing environment
-Strong technical understanding of corrugator setup, machine operation, and quality control
-Ability to work efficiently, maintain high production standards, and troubleshoot machine issues
-Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
-Understanding the different flute profiles (B,C and E) ,moisture codes and understanding of paper grams.
-Pressure roller and starch glue unit settings.
-Able to monitor temperature, steam pressure, wrap arm control, paper tension.
-Basic mechanical trouble shooting skills.
-Coordinate with wet end and dry end crew.
