• Plan, Schedule and monitor material requirements based on production plans and forecasts.
• Create and manage material plans using MRP,ERP systems (SAP)
• Ensure materials are available to support production schedules and customer demand.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust plans to prevent shortages and excess stock.
• Coordinate with procurement to place purchase orders and expedite materials when necessary .
• Track suppliers performance, delivery schedule and lead times.
• Resolve material shortages, delays and quality controls teams.
• Maintain accurate planning data including BOMS’s, lead times and safety stock levels.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, logistics and quality departments
Required Skills
- Sap: 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
• Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Exposure to lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives is beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, e.g., SAP
