An exciting career opportunity is available for a Despatch Supervisor within a leading manufacturing environment in the Western Cape.

In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing the accurate and timeous billing of all despatched goods. Your duties will also include maintaining accurate documentation and stock control, planning and controlling resources, managing schedules to ensure plant efficiency, enforcing safety compliance and PPE usage, maintaining a clean despatch environment, coordinating truck loading and utilisation, and managing team performance. Your expertise in warehousing, distribution, and people management will be essential in ensuring quality, cost control, and on-time delivery.

Candidate Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a National Senior Certificate (Matric), as well as a Management Development and/or Logistics certificate. You should also have 3-5 years of relevant experience in a warehousing and distribution environment, along with 3-5 years of people management experience in a supervisory role. Strong literacy and numeracy skills, problem-solving and root cause analysis ability, an independent work ethic, strong planning and organisational capability, and conflict management skills will also be valuable.
