We have an amazing opportunity for an accountant at a firm based in Bryanston, Johannesburg! The main purpose of this role is:

-        preparing annual financial statements accurately and efficiently, administering corporate tax requirements, performing reconciliations and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory frameworks.

We require a candidate with:

·        Minimum BCom degree (Accounting or equivalent).

·        Successful completion of a SAICA or SAIPA training contract.

·        Sound knowledge of IFRS for SMEs and related reporting requirements.

·        Experience preparing financial statements and performing balance sheet reconciliations.

·        Proven proficiency in CaseWare and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).

·        Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
