PURPOSE STATEMENT
The primary responsibility of the Truck Driver is to transport goods from one location to another in a safe and timely manner and assist in the warehouse with general duties when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive long distances to deliver cargo to camps
• Load and unload cargo
• Record cargo deliveries
• Keep truck clean at all times
• Report road incidents to the line manager
• Adhere to traffic law and regulations.
• Inspect trucks and record issues.
• Follow accident procedures
• Keep log hours
• Report mechanical problems on time
• Plan routes to ensure scheduled deliveries on time
• Maintain a positive attitude with colleagues and customer

Truck driver Requirements

1. Valid C1 driver's license with a good driving record.
2. Previous experience as a truck driver or in a similar role will be an added advantage.
   
3. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
   
5. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
6. Willing to work weekend and overtime.
7. Flexible

Additional preferred Skills:

1. Experience with different types of trucks and trailers.
2. Knowledge of route planning and navigation tools.
