My client is looking for a Webmaster / WordPress Developer based in Sandton with an in office working model.

Requirements:

·        Proven experience in website development; candidates without demonstrable experience will not be considered

·        Excellent written and spoken English

·        Experience working in-office for the first 6 months, followed by hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

·        Experience with digital agency environments preferred

·        Technical skills:

·        WordPress (custom themes, plugins, functions)

·        HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP

·        MySQL / SQL databases

·        Git, sFTP/FTP, cPanel, WHM, Plesk or equivalent hosting control panels

·        Website deployment, debugging, QA, maintenance, and content publication

·        SEO software (SEMRush, Ahrefs, GTMetrics, Google Suite)

·        Adobe Photoshop (basic) or equivalent image editor

·        Familiarity with ticketing/helpdesk systems

·        Strong logical approach, attention to detail, aesthetics, and website architecture understanding

·        Ability to train clients on CMS & EDM platforms

·        Driven, motivated, disciplined, and a collaborative team player
