Role Overview
The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and optimise the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient planning, procurement, production coordination, warehousing, and distribution. The role is critical in driving cost efficiency, on-time delivery, quality standards, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations: procurement, production planning, inventory, warehousing, and distribution
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives
- Forecast demand and plan materials to support production schedules
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and performance (local & international suppliers)
- Monitor inventory levels to minimise stockouts, excess stock, and obsolescence
- Collaborate closely with production, sales, and finance teams to ensure seamless operations
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- Analyse supply chain data and KPIs to drive cost reduction and efficiency improvements
- Manage logistics, freight, and delivery timelines to meet customer demand
- Lead, mentor, and develop supply chain and planning teams
Candidate Requirements
Key Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in a supply chain management role within manufacturing or FMCG (textiles preferred)
- Strong understanding of production planning, procurement, and inventory control
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
- Proven supplier negotiation and vendor management experience
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
