A bespoke Mechanical Engineering Consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Fire Engineer to join their team in KZN. If you are Professionally Registered with a strong background in designing fire protection systems for buildings projects, then this is the role for you.

Role requirements:

·       BEng/BSc in Mechanical Engineering

·       Must be registered as Pr. Eng with ECSA

·       8+ years industry experience in building services

·       Relevant software experience

Key responsibilities:

·       Lead mechanical engineering designs for Fire protection systems.

·       Prepare technical specifications

·       Conduct heating and cooling load calculations

·       Conduct pipe and duct sizing calculations

·       Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards

·       Conduct site inspections

·       Mentor junior staff
