Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join their growing team in Somerset West. The successful candidate will be involved in the design, analysis, and delivery of a variety of structural engineering projects across the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Structural design and analysis of reinforced concrete, steel, and masonry structures
• Preparation of technical drawings, reports, and specifications
• Coordination with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders
• Site inspections and construction monitoring
• Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
• Assisting with project management and delivery within deadlines

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree or BTech in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 3–7 years’ relevant industry experience
• Proficiency in structural design software and AutoCAD/Revit (advantageous)
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills
• ECSA registration or candidacy (advantageous)
