Role Overview
The Marketing Quality & Sales Operations Executive plays a critical role in protecting the quality, clarity, and commercial impact of GrowCFO’s marketing, sales, and client delivery.
This role sits at the intersection of marketing, sales, and operations, acting as a final quality gate across high-impact work, while also supporting selective content creation where capacity is constrained.
The focus is on quality over volume: ensuring that what is published, shared, or delivered is accurate, compelling, strategically aligned, and commercially sound.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations & Post-Sale Delivery
-
Own the post-sale process once a deal is confirmed
-
Coordinate with Finance to ensure invoices are raised correctly and issued on time
-
Issue client contracts, track signatures, and ensure documents are accurately filed
-
Ensure clients are fully onboarded with access to the correct platforms, products, and materials
-
Set up bespoke purchase links, pricing rules, coupon codes, and access permissions where required
Marketing Quality, Proofing & Commercial Sense-Checking
Act as the final quality and sense-check across marketing, sales, events, and digital products.
-
Review and refine content for:
-
Clarity, structure, and flow
-
Consistency of messaging and positioning
-
Commercial intent (is it compelling, credible, and outcome-focused?)
-
Improve wording to increase clarity, engagement, and conversion — not just correct errors
-
Quality-check:
-
Web pages (copy, formatting, links, UX flow)
-
Email campaigns (subject lines, copy, links, formatting)
-
Sales collateral and marketing assets
-
Think like the end user: identify friction, confusion, or weak messaging before anything goes live
-
Carry out end-to-end testing of pages, booking flows, and digital products
-
Regularly spot-check live platforms for errors, broken links, or inconsistencies
LinkedIn Content Creation & Amplification
Where capacity is constrained, support the creation and refinement of LinkedIn content — primarily for senior leaders.
-
Draft and refine LinkedIn posts based on:
-
Existing long-form content (newsletters, podcasts, events, insights)
-
Voice notes, outlines, or raw thinking from senior leaders
-
Ensure posts are:
-
Clear, credible, and insight-led
-
Aligned with GrowCFO’s positioning and tone
-
Designed for engagement without being promotional or generic
-
Repurpose approved content into short-form LinkedIn posts where appropriate
-
Schedule and coordinate posts in line with agreed content plans
This is selective, insight-driven content creation — not day-to-day social media management.
Events & Product Readiness
-
Work with Events and Marketing teams to carry out full end-to-end checks before events go live
-
Validate event setup, pricing, access rules, confirmation emails, and joining instructions
-
Ensure the customer journey from registration through to delivery is accurate and professional
Video & Content Coordination
-
Coordinate with videographers and content partners, including:
-
Booking testimonial interviews
-
Scheduling mentor and facilitator recordings
-
Tracking delivery timelines
-
Review returned video and content assets to ensure:
-
Accuracy and clarity
-
Brand and messaging alignment
-
Suitability for the intended audience and channel
Required Skills
- Writing Skills
- Attention-To-Detail
- Organised Business Skills
Candidate Requirements
Skills & Attributes
-
Strong attention to detail combined with sound commercial judgement
-
Confident improving and drafting content for clarity and impact
-
Able to write clear, credible LinkedIn content in a senior leadership voice
-
Highly organised with strong follow-through
-
Comfortable working across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Events, and external suppliers
-
Able to manage multiple platforms, processes, and deadlines
-
Thinks like a customer and spots issues before they reach the market
What This Role Is — and Is Not
This role is:
-
A commercial quality gate across marketing and sales operations
-
A support role for senior leaders’ content when capacity is constrained
-
Focused on clarity, credibility, and impact
This role is not:
-
A full-time social media or campaign execution role
-
A volume-driven content production position
Why This Role Matters
This role ensures that GrowCFO’s marketing, sales delivery, and leadership content consistently meet a high commercial standard.
By acting as both a quality filter and a selective content contributor, this person protects brand reputation, improves engagement, and frees senior leaders to focus on strategy rather than constant rewriting and checking.
